As a classical pianist he has captivated audiences as a soloist working with prestigious orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, and Kaunas State Symphony Orchestra. He has given Piano Recitals in venues such as the Bridgewater Hall, Wigmore Hall in London, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic in Vilnius.

Ugnius s a keen chamber musician often working with other classical, jazz and pop musicians in various settings across the UK. Additionally, Ugnius is a visionary musician and the driving force behind 'Glasgow Piano Days' innitiative, curating free piano event in Hospitals, Museum and other public spaces across Glasgow.

Alongside his performing career, Ugnius is a devoted piano teacher. Through his teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Universities of Glasgow and Aberdeen, he shares his knowledge and expertise to aspiring pianists, fostering their growth and success. Many of his students have achieved remarkable accomplishments, garnering prizes in national and international piano competitions.
